RECOMMENDED — ONE COMMAND, INSTALLS & UPDATES

Open PowerShell as Administrator (Start menu → type “PowerShell” → right-click → Run as administrator) and paste:

irm https://install.quill.clareinfotech.com/setup.ps1 | iex

This trusts the Quill certificate and installs the app directly. Re-run the same command any time to update. Nothing else to click.

MANUAL ALTERNATIVE
  1. Download the certificate: quill-codesign.cer. Double-click → Install Certificate → Local Machine → “Place all certificates in the following store” → Trusted Root Certification Authorities. Repeat, choosing Trusted People.
  2. Download the app: Quill Chat (.msix), then double-click it and choose Install.

Why not a one-click web button? Microsoft disabled the ms-appinstaller: web-install protocol for security, so the app must be installed from the command above or the downloaded file.
